The Virtual University Course Builder
("VU Course Builder) is a 'Knowledge
Builder' tool. It can be downloaded and installed on your laptop or
desktop so that you can create courses at your own time
and place. Once you have created a course, you can
upload the SCORM conforming IMS Course Manifest file to
the LCMS (Content Repository) or LMS (Learning
Management System) directly. With the Course Builder,
you can create and assemble Online courses by using your
familiar desktop tools, such as MS PowerPoint,
Macromedia Flash, MS FrontPage, Microsoft Word or
others. You can include the content as complete
Lessons, Modules, Topics or even individual Web pages .
The Course Builder can be downloaded and used freely for
evaluation purposes
