Service and Support, Virtual University Appliance ( eLearning Appliance) Care Pack and Warranty Information

Software Licensing: The Company grants the right to the use of the Virtual University Appliance (eLearning Appliance) - hardware and base software contained on the Virtual University System Appliance with purchase.

Software Warranty: Software media shipped with the Appliance will be free of physical defects for a period of 90 days from delivery.

Hardware Maintenance:

Covers Hardware Only: Warranty entitlement covers 1 year period from date of purchase

  1. Exchange (Shipment by Fed-Ex or other approved carrier) within 24-hrs ($ 3500.00/yr) under the Platinum Plan
  2. On-site with 24-hour x 7-days/week, 6 hour response is available under the Gold Plan  ($ 1850.00/yr)
  3. On-site with 24-hour x 7-days/week, 24 hour response is available under the Silver Plan ($ 1250.00/yr)
  4. On-site with 24-hour x 7-days/week, 48 hour response is available under the Bronze Plan ($850.00/yr)
NOTE: Certain restrictions and exclusions apply. Consult the Customer Support Center for details. All replacement parts for your standard hardware warranty are included.

Software Services included with initial Purchase: Included with the purchase of the product is 90-days Phone support service -  Mon thru Friday, 9Am - 5Pm, 4 hour response time.
Additional Software Incident Packs:

Additional Software Incident Packs can be purchased with our purchase. Unlike Annual maintenance, incidents Packs are good for up to 24 months.

 

- 12 Incident Packs - $ 1,200.00

- 24 Incident Packs - $ 2,200.00

- 36 Incident Packs - $ 3,000.00

 

Each incident is equal to 30 minutes of support. Single Incidents can be purchased for $125.00 per  Incident.


Optional Standard Care Package (includes Software, Hardware & Incident Packs)

The Standard Care Pack includes the following for one year (12 months) - $5,000.00

  • On-site with 24-hour x 7-days/week, 6 hour response (Gold Plan)

  • 3-Days Training at a VUS Facility for up to a group of 4 individuals 

  • 1-Day Accelerated Training for up to a group of 4 individuals, 6 times/Year at a VUS Facility

  • 12 Incident Packs (Each incident is equal to 30 minutes of support)

  • New Version Releases and Feature Upgrades for 12-months from date of purchase
