VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY
APPLIANCE FEATURES
|
Technology |
Two major trends are
fundamentally changing software development for
enterprises – Distributed Teams' and 'Open Source'
software. Our product, The Virtual University Appliance
incorporates 'Open Source' software standards such
as Linux, Java, J2EE, XML, SQL, JSP and HTML into the
foundation. We are seeing more and more corporations
adopting open source standards, and often adapting them
into the core of their own application development
efforts. Our approach to enables us to provide our
customers with an application foundation that can be
maintained by distributed teams across the globe. 'Open
Source aware' programming resources around the world can
lower customization costs, can be highly productive -
and help customers avoid costly proprietary software
risks..
